Sleep is for the wicked
Besides the obvious jet lag - body: it's time to sleep! brain: NO! - my lips feel like two pieces of bak kwa most of the time now.
Sometimes we take something as simple as humidity for granted.
I'm virtually eatin' my chap stick.
Temperature was 111ºF when i landed - that's 43ºC, my friends - but amazingly, didn't feel too bad - more like walking into a dryer room with 173 dryers running at the same time. According to V, 111 is considered LOW, this time of the year. Haha.
But apparently it's been raining - caught sight of this flooded (!?) piece of land beside the highway:
"What's up with the water here?"
"Oh it rained last evening."
"[insert random statement about greenhouse effect]"
Will post pictures soon - stay tuned!
