Apologies for not posting more frequently - housework and other activities call you know :)

Same old usual heat - if you're wondering where the pictures are - it's been too hot to be outdoors in the day!!

Not too hot to be shooting though. Popped down to the Ben Avery Shooting Facility last weekend. Fired my first handgun ... the Taurus .40 and a custom .22 rifle. Fun! The rifle was very forgiving at 50 yards - managed to get most of my shots in.

Yep, Arizona pretty much looks like that - lotsa browns, maybe a little bit more green in spring, but mostly BROWN.

    Yah loads of brown, that Arizona and hot too. Have you tried cooking an egg on your head? HAHAHHA

    The bald one would love to shoot with you. Unfortunately, he has to be contented with indoor shooting at Safra. HAHAHAHHA He will be so envious when I tell him. He is a closet red neck.

From Axis to Duotone

 Got my Duotone foil set after a long month's wait! (Ordered on Apr 2, received on May 6) Mast: Slim 2.0 D/LAB 94cm Foil: Glide 2.0 SLS 1100  specs: span 106cm, AR 10.2 Fuselage: Aero AL 3BS 66cm Stab: H185 (a step smaller than the recommended H210) Damage: S$2,875 First sesh First impressions Thoughtful package, with velcro everywhere so that stuff doesn't tumble around in the foil bag Anti-corrosion, anti-seize paste provided. Not tacky and easier to wipe off than Tef-Gel! All screws and all tools provided. The M8 screws are not Torx 40, but 45. The M6 screws are the usual Torx 30. Had to self-apply thin EVA padding for mast/board interface; I missed that and my first sesh was with the naked mast! Odd that they don't stick this at the factory.
