Shooting the breeze
Popped down to the range again last weekend with Homie and B - whooped their butts! Did the 22 at 50yards and it was surpisingly easy, especially with the right support. Landed all my shots within 3 inches of one another - so I suggested taking the target out to 100 yards.
Yep a lot more challenging - spread instantly tripled or quadrupled; needed to aim off to compensate for wind and gravity.
Next up was the AR-15 - the civilian version of the venerable M-16:
We had one of those reflex sights on, almost made it too ez :P line up the amber dot on the target and fire away - very forgiving.
In case you're thinking I've become a gun geek - no ... just enjoy the challenge of getting my shots on target. It's fun and believe it or not, a relatively cheap hobby. Just $5 for range time.
