My new machine
Just fixed up a new machine on Aug 31, here're the important bits: CPU : Intel Core 2 Quad Q9550 rated 2.83GHz, OC'ed to 3.16GHz currently Mem : OCZ DDR2 PC2-8500 Reaper HPC 4GB Mobo : MSI P45 Platinum (which went kaput in 1 year; replaced with Asus mobo) GPU : Asus HD4850 512MB with Glaciator heatsink (picture shown is the 1GB model, but my card has the same heat sink) CPU Cooler : Xigmatek Achilles S1284 PSU : PC Power & Cooling 750W Silencer (I got the black version, NOT the red one in the review) ... and finally the case - NZXT Tempest :
