Armstrong Midlength FG Board 85L since July 10, 2025. Dimensions: 6'5 x 20 3/4" x 4 7/8", or 196cm x 53cm x 12.4cm Weight: 6kg, as at July 10, 2025 Next impressions (after 10+ sessions) This board sparks joy! Good pressure on wing = foiling! Point it downwind and it quickly gets to foiling speed. Easier to translate gusts into forward momentum due to longer more directional profile Didn't feel much more swing weight than the FG90 . Rode it in 20kt conditions, did not feel cumbersome! Somehow it feels easier to pump. Probably more leverage longitudinally. Retains sensitivity to foil Same hard tracks as the FG90, and same settings! Seems harder to muscle a direction change when touched down So easy and fun to pump off a swell now. I've been missing out! ML85 (left) vs FG90

Not tacky and easier to wipe off than Tef-Gel! All screws and all tools provided. The M8 screws are not Torx 40, but 45. The M6 screws are the usual Torx 30. Had to self-apply thin EVA padding for mast/board interface; I missed that and my first sesh was with the naked mast! Odd that they don't stick this at the factory. (So it turns out that the padding is optional for "best performance", and its purpose is to protect the board/mast from grit that might be trapped in the connection.) Track cradle for nuts provided, so that it's quic...
