Prices include remotes and LED light attachments. To be frank, I think the prices are a bit steep. Let's see if the fans can justify their cost over the years. Hoping to get at least five trouble-free years out of them.

Printing over the air

It's cool that modern printers and scanners only need a power cord and no other wires. Yep, not even a USB cable. We got the Canon Pixma MG6470 on a National Day offer ($49 off usual price of $199): Key features: Five individual ink cartridges, CMYK for colour, and a dedicated black for B&W printing Variety of ways to start a print job, including Android and iOS apps Auto On system to start a print/scan job even when printer is "off"

Picked up the LG HomBot VR6340LV for $499 on Qoo10 : I debated this model over the sexier VR6370LVM (at $599 excluding GST) for a long time, but eventually picked the 6340 because: Local seller, so GST already included in $499 price tag One-year local warranty, as opposed to a Korean warranty if I got the $599 one Not sure if additional functionality (extra "eye" and mop plate) of 6370 model is worth more than $140 in extra cost We used it for the first time on Aug 9; it works as advertised! Quite interesting seeing it dock itself at the charging station. It helpfully reports its status and asks for assistance when stuck, with a quaint UK-accented female voice.

Rinse and repeat

Picked up these two bad boys too: LG WD-1480TDT 8kg Direct Drive Washer  $755 Bosch Serie | 2 Classixx WTC84101SG 7kg Condenser Dryer  $999 The dryer had a dent on its side on first delivery on Jul 16; did a one-to-one exchange one week later on Jul 23, fuss-free. Total damage for washer/dryer, hood/hob, fridge and oven ran to $3,954. Boss at shop gave us a $3,750 final bill, with no hidden charges. Not bad lah.
