Fuselage: Aero AL 3BS 66cm

- Thoughtful package, with velcro everywhere so that stuff doesn't tumble around in the foil bag

- Anti-corrosion, anti-seize paste provided. Not tacky and easier to wipe off than Tef-Gel!
- All screws and all tools provided. The M8 screws are not Torx 40, but 45. The M6 screws are the usual Torx 30.
- Had to self-apply thin EVA padding for mast/board interface; I missed that and my first sesh was with the naked mast! Odd that they don't stick this at the factory. (So it turns out that the padding is optional for "best performance", and its purpose is to protect the board/mast from grit that might be trapped in the connection.)
- Track cradle for nuts provided, so that it's quicker to line up the screws. Missed them also, so had to manually align screws and nuts through the mast for the 1st session.
- The Glide v2 1100 lifts like a 1300, but speeds like a 1100! Thanks to its camber I suspect.
- No drama, doesn't buck, doesn't drop on stall. Low stall speed. Very polite foil
- Lifts later than the Spitfire 1180 (1500cm2), about the same as my old Spitfire 1030 (1300cm2)
- Turns on a dime, I think I can carve harder for tighter turns without stalling.
- Fuss-free when pushed for speed - nice hum
- Lotsa glide! Fun with swells and pumping
